Legacy monolithic applications were causing slow release cycles, limited scalability, and high operational overhead, impacting business agility and partner onboarding speed.

Challenge: Securing high-volume healthcare data across public/private cloud boundaries.
Solution: Engineered a multi-layered defense-in-depth strategy. Implemented OAuth2/OIDC for identity, mTLS for service-to-service communication, and a custom Java-based WAF for real-time threat mitigation at the gateway level.
Impact: Reduced security attack surface by 80%. Neutralised OWASP Top 10 injection and XSS vulnerabilities. Platform maintained 100% SOC2 and GDPR compliance.
Challenge: Overcoming processing bottlenecks in legacy monolithic batch systems.
Solution: Redesigned core processing into an asynchronous, Kafka-based architecture. Utilized the Saga Pattern for distributed transactions and Kafka Streams for real-time ETL, ensuring data consistency without synchronous blocking.
